Skins do not work on Mac OS X! Put the downloaded VLT file in the following folder:
* On Windows: the skins folder in the VLC installation directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\VLC\skins) * On Linux/Unix: ~/.local/share/vlc/skins2
Then open your VLC settings and change your interface from native to skins. You can choose your desired skin already there or change it when you are in the skins mode by rightclicking somewhere on the skin and going to Interface>Choose Skin. VLC needs to be restarted to change to skins mode.
cool skin i ran into a bit of a problem though, running 1.1 rc when i try to fullscreen a video it only shows up on my primary monitor(i run dual) no matter which screen its on before. hopefully this gets fixed in an update.

You're welcome, I stopped using after a while and went back to the default VLC skin...
I still kept your skin though, it's easy to use, but I just wish the playlist section were easier to use, takes me a long time to figure out if I have the right playlist or not D:
I really like this skin. It fits perfectly with my personal aesthetic - I cycle through several types of backgrounds and wallpapers, and this fits nicely with any of them.
